We keep this simple. Here is what this website collects, why, and what we do with it.
What you send us
When you fill out a form on this site, your name, phone number, optional email and message go to Vin Frana and Zach Silk so we can get back to you. We keep a private copy of each message as a backup. We only use it to answer you. We do not sell it, rent it or add you to a mailing list.
What the website measures
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits. It tells us things like which pages are read, how people found the site, what kind of device they used, and how many times someone tapped one of our phone numbers. It does not tell us who you are, and it never sees what you type into our forms.
Google Analytics uses cookies to do this counting. Google describes how it uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google's browser add on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our web host, GoDaddy, also adds a small script to each page that measures how fast pages load and how the site performs.
The map on our toy drive page shows map images from OpenStreetMap, a free public map. To show the map, your browser asks OpenStreetMap's servers for those images, which shares your internet address with them the way loading any web page does. The map sets no cookies. OpenStreetMap's privacy policy is at osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy. The links to GoFundMe and Venmo on that page take you to their own sites, which have their own privacy policies.
