Neighborhoods

Where you are on the water matters

Brielle borders Manasquan to the north and east, Wall and Brick to the west, and Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach across the river to the south. Its waterfront along the Manasquan River, Glimmer Glass and Debbie's Creek is all salt water and tidal.

  • Along the river: Homes and marinas on the Manasquan River, looking across the water toward Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach.
  • Glimmer Glass and Debbie's Creek: Tidal waters reaching into town, with homes near the Glimmer Glass Bridge and along the creek.
  • Manasquan Park: A named community inside Brielle. Despite the name, homes here are in Brielle, not Manasquan.
  • Inland streets: Residential blocks away from the water, a short drive to the shops on Union and Higgins Avenues.

Homes

What you will find

  • Waterfront homes: Homes on the river, Glimmer Glass and the creeks, some with docks and bulkheads.
  • In town streets: Older and newer detached homes on residential streets away from the water.

Worth knowing: For waterfront homes, the bulkhead, the dock and the flood zone can matter as much as the house. Check the condition of the bulkhead, whether the dock is permitted, and how deep the water is at low tide. Homes near the river and creeks can sit in FEMA flood zones, so ask for the elevation certificate and flood history too. New Jersey sellers must disclose a home's flood zone and flood history.
